​Create new patient charts, monitor incoming faxes, bill patients -- keep on top of what’s going on in your practice from the Action Bar within Elation's Practice Home. This hub features the most frequently used Elation tools, so you can have access as soon as you login.

How do I get documents into a patient’s chart?
Whether reports, insurance cards, or old records, there are two ways to get documents into Elation. Eliminate paper before it happens and set up fax forwarding from your landline fax; incoming faxes will be sent directly into your Fax Inbox for filing. If there are any documents on your computer, you can drag-and-drop them in bulk straight into your Fax Inbox. Once in the Fax Inbox, you can combine, reorder, or delete specific pages from different documents and file directly to the patient chart. 

Where can I see all encounters not yet billed?
Elation Billing allows for you to monitor each visit note’s billing status so nothing gets lost and it's always on “the top of your desk”. You can see notes that are:

  • Awaiting Physician Sign-off, Not Yet Billed
  • Signed, Not Yet Billed
  • Marked as Billed

Click the “Billing” button in the action bar to be taken to the Provider Billing Report where you can export a list of billed and un-billed notes. Also keep your Billing Settings up-to-date for quick reference.

I have designed education materials for my patients, can I store these in Elation?
Never search for that “really good MMR handout” again, Elation’s Handout List keeps all handouts in one place for quick reference and printing. The list automatically includes standard CDC handouts but can be supplemented by your favorites. Upload your own handouts using the “Upload File” button at the bottom of the Handout list.
