Meaningful Use measure, Objective 10, requires Eligible Professionals (EPs) to enroll and engage in two public health registries in their state. The three registry options are: immunization registry, syndromic surveillance, and specialized registry.
Therefore, providers are only required to engage with their state’s immunization registry (exclusion from immunization registry counts).
Hawaii's registry options are listed below. After enrolling, if the registry reaches out to start the onboarding process, you must respond within 30 days. Please be sure to also forward the request to Elation at firstname.lastname@example.org.
1. Hawaii Immunization Registry - HIRPlease complete the attached HIR MU form. The form may be faxed to 808-586-8312 or e-mailed to email@example.com
Note: HIR is requiring all providers to re-register every year. This means providers who registered for HIR in previous year will need to re-register every year.
2. Syndromic Surveillance (Not supported by Hawaii)Hawaii does not support Syndromic Surveillance, so this registry option is not available to Hawaii practices.
3. Specialized Registries - Cancer RegistryClick on this link to register for Hawaii's Cancer Registry: http://ehrip.hawaiitumorregistry.org/
