How to Use Elation to Meet your Stage 1 MU Requirements

The following is a list of items you should incorporate into your patient care workflow to meet MU Stage 2 requirements. This "checklist" can be printed out. We suggest you work with this list for a couple of patients to get accustomed to the workflow for MU compliance. This document is not needed for submission, it was solely created for your convenience!

  1. Verify Clinical Reminders, Drug-To-Drug Alerts and Drug-To-Allergy Alerts Are Turned On
  2. Conduct or Review Security Risk Analysis / [Objective 1] Protect Patient Information
  3. Submit Electronic Immunization Data to Immunization Registries
    (California providers only need to register with CA Immunization Registry)
  4. Submit Electronic Syndromic Surveillance Data To Public Health Agencies
    (Contact local health agencies for instructions)
