Meaningful Use measure, Objective 10, requires Eligible Professionals (EPs) to enroll and engage in two public health registries in their state. The three registry options are: immunization registry, syndromic surveillance, and specialized registry.
Therefore, providers are only required to engage with their state’s immunization registry (exclusion from immunization registry counts).
Vermont's registry options are listed below. After enrolling, if the registry reaches out to start the onboarding process, you must respond within 30 days. Please be sure to also forward the request to Elation at email@example.com.
1. Vermont Immunization RegistryRegistration: Complete the Vermont Contact Form, select the "Connect to the Vermont Health Information Exchange" option. In the notes of the contact form, include that you would like to register for Vermont's immunization registry.

Exclusion: EPs who do not administer vaccines are excluded from this measure.
2. Syndromic Surveillance (not supported by Vermont)Vermont does not support Syndromic Surveillance for Eligible Professionals, therefore this registry option is not available.
3. Specialized Registries (not supported by Vermont)Vermont does not support any specialized registry, therefore this registry option is not supported by the state. However, If you are part of a medical society, please confirm if the society maintains a specialized registry.
