The Membership Management functionality provides a convenient and flexible way to create and manage recurring patient membership plans or fees directly within Elation. Additionally functionalities include:
- enrolling patients in individual or group memberships
- patient self-enrollment in plans
- automatically notifying patients when a payment is due
- automatically billing patients on a preset schedule
- charging a patient’s card on file (if preferred)
- sending patients notifications if there are any changes to their plans
- reporting on memberships and payments
What types of memberships can the feature support?
Elation’s Membership Management features supports
- one-time membership/fee charges for set amounts
- recurring membership/fee charges based on a preset schedule for set amounts
Elation’s Membership Management solution enables you to get paid quickly and reliably for patient membership subscriptions or fees, without the administrative overhead of using a third party membership management system because everything is managed in the EHR. This feature reduces the effort required to manage patient memberships or fees, supports your practice’s financial viability and helps you focus on providing excellent care.
Elation’s Membership Management feature is tied to the Patient Payment feature, powered by Stripe. A fee of 2.99% per transaction will be deducted from every membership/fee payment collected through the Membership Management feature.
To enable the Membership Management features:
- Register for a Stripe account with Elation by following these instructions here.
- Notify Elation you are interested in using the Membership Management feature using the I need help -> Contact Elation Support button at the top of your Elation account and Elation will turn the feature on for you.
