We recommend reading the How to Enroll Patients in Plans article before learning about how to manage payments. Patients must first be enrolled in plans in order for you to receive payments.
Contents
Your practice is paid out weekly, every Monday on a two-day rolling basis. This means that your financial week runs from Friday to Thursday. The cut-off for the weekly Monday payout is the previous Thursday. If you process a payment on Friday, for example, that payment will be deposited on the following Monday (9 days later).
Reporting
You can utilize a Membership Report to view all of your patients enrolled in a membership. The report contains useful information about the patient, plan, enrollment and billing statuses, and more. You can use the report to take actions such as editing an enrollment or viewing payments for a given patient. The report can be filtered to show specific plans, enrollment statuses, and patients, and a CSV of the report can be downloaded.
Filters
Filters can be used individually or in combination to find specific patients based on the plan they are enrolled in, the status of their membership, and/or the patient’s name.
By default, patients enrolled in all membership plans will be shown. The membership plan dropdown filter can be used to refine the report to only show patients enrolled in specific plans.
By default, patients in all membership statuses (Active, Past Due, Paused, and Other) will be displayed. The status dropdown filter can be used to refine the report to only show patients in a specific status.
To filter for a specific patient, begin typing part or all of a patient’s name in the Patient Name filter, and then select the appropriate patient from the suggestions provided.
Actions
By clicking on the '…' link in the Actions dropdown, you can perform various actions for a patient/group, including…
- Edit enrollment
- Pause/resume membership subscription
- Unenroll patient/group from a membership subscription
- See payments tied to a given patient. Clicking this option will open the Patient Payment report filtered for the selected patient
Download CSV
You can click the “Download CSV” button to obtain a file with all the membership data shown in the report. The filters applied on the report at the time the download button was clicked will be reflected in the CSV file.
Edit Columns
By default, a subset of the full list of available columns will be shown on the report. By clicking the ‘Edit Columns’ button, you can choose which columns appear, as well as the order of those columns.
