MIPS participation may seem overwhelming. To break down MIPS participation and actions to take during 2024, here is the guide to follow along all the resources Elation Health offers for MIPS eligible clinicians. This information is intended as support for your practice to participate in MIPS using Elation. For questions specific to MIPS and regulatory requirements, contact the QPP directly.
A helpful guide from the QPP is the

Ensure MIPS eCQMs are turned on (link to article) and that you are tracking eCQMs as best possible. Follow workflows to close care gaps. Create a performance improvement plan to determine what needs to be tracked better over time.
Understand and determine your reporting type and collection type. Review the
MIPS (2024)- Quality Category article to support this.
Does your practice have greater than 15 providers in it? If not, do nothing, you do not need to report to this category.
If your practice has greater than 15 providers and plans to report the PI category, ensure you can participate by reviewing the
MIPS (2024)- Promoting Interoperability Category article, checking all your integrations, and reviewing workflows for the associated measures.
Important Note: If you are reporting on the Promoting Interoperability Category, make sure you submit your intent to submit data to your local Public Health Agency and reach out to Elation Health so we can assist in understanding the integration.
Look at the Improvement Activities list and determine which Improvement Activities are most relevant to your practice. Review the
